In our area, possibly due to the rain, we have had a lot of problems with Texas Leaf Cutter Ants. Mounds are popping up everywhere! Cutter Ants can be very destructive to landscape plants and agricultural crops in Texas. We have a recipe to treat the mounds that was put out by the Ag Extension a few years ago. The recipe uses acephate (which we carry) and Grape Nut cereal. We also stock carbaryl and permetherin, which are mentioned in the article. Questions on treating the ants? Stop and see us today.
